Sarah Beth and Jackson’s October wedding at Overlook Farms in Alabama was a perfect mix of heartfelt moments and joyful celebration. The air was crisp, the leaves were beginning to turn, and a gentle mix of clouds and sunlight over Lake Martin set the most peaceful mood. With its sweeping views high above the water, Overlook Farms created the perfect backdrop for a fall wedding full of laughter, worship, and love.

Every detail of the day reflected something meaningful. Sarah Beth tied in soft blue accents throughout her flowers and décor, and her grandfather even hand-painted their champagne bottle. It was a meaningful reminder of the love and care surrounding their wedding, and those kinds of personal touches are always some of my favorite things to photograph.

Sarah Beth’s mom helped her into her dress, shoes, and jewelry (including a special bracelet her mom gifted her as her “something blue”). After some portraits with her bridesmaids, Sarah Beth shared the sweetest first look with her dad. Then it was time for her first touch with Jackson! I LOVE first touches. A romantic moment together before the ceremony can ease nerves, even if you don’t see each other. After their first touch, we finished up portraits with the groomsmen, who had endless creative ideas for photos.

Just as the ceremony began, the clouds moved into place and created the perfect soft light for the vows. Hundreds of loved ones watched as Sarah Beth walked down the aisle with her dad to meet Jackson. As the ceremony unfolded, guests joined together to sing “O Come to the Altar,” led by violin and vocals. Before their kiss, Sarah Beth and Jackson invited their family forward to pray with them. It was a quiet, meaningful moment that beautifully reflected their faith.

After the ceremony and some portraits, the celebration kicked into high gear. With 11 bridesmaids and 11 groomsmen, there was no shortage of energy or laughter. The live band kept the dance floor full all night! At several points I found myself right in the middle of the crowd with my camera above my head. Those candid dance floor photos ended up being some of my favorites from the night!

As the evening came to a close, Sarah Beth and Jackson made their grand exit under a shower of cold sparks and cheers from their guests. Then they shared one last kiss before their getaway car rolled into the night! Sarah Beth and Jackson’s Overlook Farms wedding in Alabama was full of joy, laughter, and the sweetest moments from start to finish.
