…but how do we get there? My goal is for your session to feel relaxed, enjoyable, and completely stress free. After years of photographing couples across Alabama, I have learned how to guide you in a way that feels natural and easy. I will help you every step of the way so you never wonder what to do with your hands, where to look, or how to pose together. We will take our time, talk, laugh, and let you settle in so your connection comes through in a genuine and comfortable way. Couples often leave saying how fun and effortless the session felt, and that is still the best compliment I could receive.

The Experience
Relaxed sessions, real connection, portraits you’ll love
I don’t put a time limit on my portrait sessions because everyone settles in at their own pace, and I want you to feel relaxed and confident, not rushed. Sessions usually last around 45 to 90 minutes, giving plenty of flexibility if you need extra time to feel comfortable in front of the camera. During your session, I’ll guide you through poses, offer gentle direction, and get to know you so the experience feels natural and fun. Since the warm up can take five minutes or twenty, I’ve found that pricing by the hour doesn’t work well. I won’t be watching the clock, and I don’t want you to either.
Every portrait session includes an online proofing gallery with around 75 to 100 lightly edited images. You’ll be able to view your collection at your own pace and choose the ones you love for full editing and retouching. This gives you complete control over your final gallery while allowing you to select only the images that feel meaningful to you.

All of my portrait collections include untimed sessions that give you the space to relax and enjoy the experience, along with guidance on choosing the perfect location, wardrobe, and poses. You’ll also receive an online proofing gallery so you can select your favorite images for full editing and retouching. Whether you’re planning an engagement session, celebrating an anniversary, or marking another special moment in your relationship, each collection is designed to make your session easy, fun, and completely stress free.
THE PROCESS
First we’ll choose a date that works for you! I primarily book portrait sessions Monday through Friday because the weekends are reserved for weddings, family, and worship! I do occasionally have some weekend availability, so if a Saturday or Sunday work best for your family, just let me know and I'll make room in my calendar.
Booking
Portrait sessions usually last between thirty and ninety minutes, giving us plenty of time to relax, laugh, and enjoy being together. I guide you through poses, suggest natural ways to interact, and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We move at a pace that feels easy and fun, so your session is relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.
YOUR Session
Within a week of your session, you will receive an online gallery of around 75 lightly edited proofs. You can view the gallery at your own pace and select your favorites for full editing and retouching. Depending on your package, you will choose ten, twenty, or forty images to be perfected for your final gallery.

I primarily work in the Auburn/Opelika and Phenix City/Columbus area, but I’m open to traveling! “Lite” sessions can only be booked within 50 miles of Salem, AL. Travel of over 150 miles round trip may incur additional fees. Just reach out to me and I’ll create a custom quote for you!

Absolutely! I love take pictures of your whole family, fur babies included! If you want some photos with the pup and some without, I recommend bringing along an extra friend to help wrangle the leash while Rover isn't posing.
