My first goal is always connection. When we work together, I want you to feel supported and prepared. Planning a proposal can be overwhelming, so I’ll walk with you through every detail so the moment unfolds smoothly and your photos look effortless.

The Experience
Natural moments, real emotions, unforgettable images
Every proposal is different. Some are quiet and intimate. Some include family hiding nearby. Some end with a small celebration.
What does that look like for you? I'm here to help you figure that out! Your proposal deserves thoughtful preparation. I will help you choose the best location and lighting, talk through timing and positioning, and help you create a plan that feels natural. This usually includes at least one phone call and sometimes a site visit.
On the day: take your time! Proposals do not fit well inside strict time limits. There are times I need to hide a little longer, wait for people to clear, or simply pause until the timing feels right. I never watch the clock or charge extra for time, and that flexibility lets the moment happen naturally. Feel free to let things flow at a natural pace so you can keep it a surprise.
Each proposal session includes a selection of fully edited images, giving you beautiful memories of the moment.

Designed for proposals that lead into a celebration. This is the best choice if you are planning a gathering, a small party, or an event where you want full coverage of the proposal, portraits afterward, and the moments that follow.

A great choice if you want a little more variety. This option works well for proposals that include a few portraits, some close up ring images, and photos with nearby family or friends who join for a surprise moment afterward.

Each package includes guidance on timing, location, and posing so you can feel confident and enjoy the experience. Whether you are planning a quiet, intimate proposal or a celebration with family and friends, each collection is crafted to help the moment unfold naturally while providing beautiful photographs you will love.
THE PROCESS
Ready to plan your proposal? Just reach out through the form below and share your date, any details you already have in mind, and the collection you think might be the best fit. (If you're unsure, I'm always happy to help you choose!) I'll be in touch quickly to confirm my availability and talk through the next steps so we can start planning your big moment together!
Booking
After you’ve signed your contract and paid your $125 retainer, the fun stuff starts! We will talk through your ideas and I will help shape a plan that feels smooth and natural. We will discuss timing, location, lighting, and exactly where you'll stand so the moment photographs beautifully. If needed, we might even plan a "site" visit to make sure we're on the same page.
PREPARATION
Whether I'm hiding behind trees or pretending to photograph a landscape, I'll be there and ready when you are! After the question is "popped" and she says yes, we will take a few portraits while emotions are still fresh. I will also take close ups of the ring and any details that matter to you. If family or friends are nearby, we'll bring them in for photos, as well!
Proposal
Within one week, you will receive a proofing gallery of lightly edited images. You will choose your favorites based on the collection you selected, and I will fully edit each one. Your final gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your selections.
If your package includes party coverage, you will only choose your portrait images. You will select your favorite 25 portraits for retouching, and I will choose the event and group photos, typically 75 or more.
IMAGE SELECTION
It is always helpful to have a simple backup in case of weather or unexpected changes. We can talk through easy options during our planning call so you feel fully prepared.
